2. Saheed Oladele: In November 2021, Saheed Oladele displayed remarkable honesty and integrity. After inadvertently receiving a reversal alert of ₦118,000 from a bookstore in Ibadan, he could have easily kept the money. However, driven by his strong sense of ethics, he promptly returned to the store to rectify the situation. His actions exemplify integrity in the face of personal gain.

3. Prof. Nnenaya Oti: Prof. Nnenaya Oti, entrusted with the role of returning officer for the 2023 gubernatorial election in Abia state, demonstrated unwavering integrity. Despite financial inducements and threats from political enforcers, she refused to compromise her principles. Even under the pressure of political thugs and government agents, she held steadfast and upheld the sanctity of the electoral process, thereby safeguarding the democratic values she stands for.

4. Ojo Aderemi Ayotunde: Ojo Aderemi Ayotunde, a resolute advocate for justice, made a profound impact as the Students Union President. His principled stand against injustices resulted in his rustication. He fearlessly confronted the university authorities, challenging unjust fees such as the one-time yearly I.D. payment and other miscellaneous charges. Ayotunde even took the matter to court, successfully overturning his rustication. Though his two-session suspension was already completed by the time of the judgment, he successfully graduated this year, leaving a legacy of Integrity and standing up for what’s right.

5. Dr. Tajudeen Odetayo: Dr. Tajudeen Odetayo, the Rector of Osun State Polytechnic, has a long-standing history of upholding integrity. In a critical juncture, during the June 22, 2023 election for the deputy rector, he faced pressure from high-ranking state officials to manipulate the results. He steadfastly ensured the election’s fairness, even in the face of threats to his position. Though he faced suspension from the state government due to his unyielding principles, his dedication to honest governance remains steadfast.

6. Emmanuel Ikule: Emmanuel Ikule’s commitment to integrity shines prominently in his role as the National Coordinator of the Network on Police Reform in Nigeria (NOPRIN) Foundation. Through impactful initiatives, he spearheaded efforts to foster transparency and honesty within the Nigeria Police Force. His foundation collaborated with OSIWA to publish materials that promote police accountability, human rights, and access to justice for victims. By documenting and publishing cases, state by state, his contributions have left a lasting impact.
